Biodynamics is a world wide agricultural movement introduced by Austrian scientist and visionary Rudolf Steiner in 1924, predating and contributing to “organics” and becoming the foundation of the CSA (community supported agriculture) movement that began in the 1970’s.  The biodynamic farm is perceived as a self-sufficient, living entity that continually regenerates the vitality of its individual bio region.  This is accomplished, in part, by careful management of soil vitality and working in harmony with cosmic rhythms.  For more information on biodynamics, we encourage you to visit www.biodynamics.com (Biodynamic Farming and Gardening Association) and www.jpibiodynamics.org (Josephine Porter Institute).
